The pattern is from More Sensational Socks. The basic sock structure is from Emily’s Circular Socks which for now I use for all my socks. It is a pattern for 2 circulars – excellent for anybody starting out on socks and needing to be spoonfed all the way – ie as I did!

The occasion was Christmas Day, picnic in a local park and, well, maybe the red wine and the dessert helped with the mood.
